Sounder is about 8-9 years old. He was originally from Texas when we adopted him. We've had him since 2022. He's completely deaf, but understands basic hand commands like sit, down, spin, etc. He's a cuddle huge cuddle bug and loves tug o war. He's extremely food motivated. Because he's deaf, we've limited his interaction with other dogs since he can';t hear their growls so doesn't understand their limitations. He's good on the leash for daily walks and is crate trained. He doesn't really bark but makes these funny seal noises from time to time. He loves going to the beach and the snow to dip his toes in the different textures. He needs to work on his manners when there is food around.
