We adopted Levon back in 2018 and have loved being his guardian. He's great with us but isn't great around new people. He tends to bark, growl, and sometimes snap, especially at people's feet. He's currently taking fluoxetine to lessen his anxiety and aggression.
Recently, we've added two children to our family (now 3.5 years old and 18 months) and Levon is not thriving in this changed environment. He misses being the main priority in our lives and doesn't enjoy the naturally chaotic play of a toddler. He's given warning nips to our son a few times, and we worry that one day it might go too far.
Levon is a wonderful, charming, cuddly companion, but needs a quieter home. One without kids or other animals. And we know it will take a special, patient guardian to gain his trust.
