Apollo is a handsome, rough Collie just over one year old, with a long, beautiful coat that flows in the wind wherever he goes. He's a striking boy who turns heads, and he's just as special on the inside as he is on the outside.
Apollo would do best with adopters who are familiar with the rough Collie breed and understand their typical needs, including grooming, exercise, and mental enrichment. He can be cautious at times, especially when meeting new people, experiencing new environments, or hearing loud sounds. Because of this, Apollo will need a patient, understanding home willing to give him time to feel safe and build confidence.
Once he's comfortable, Apollo's sweet personality truly shines. He is cuddly, affectionate, and calm. He loves relaxing with his people, rubbing up against you for pets, and giving gentle little kisses. Outside is a different story-Apollo is energetic, playful, and full of enthusiasm. He loves to run, play with toys, and burn off energy, making him a great companion for long walks and active days.
Apollo is very smart and enjoys learning new tricks, so training and enrichment activities are a great way to bond with him. Apollo is looking for a mature home without cats or small animals.
