Brooke is a 9-year-old female with a soft heart and a quietly playful spirit. When she was younger, she was timid and unsure, but with love and consistency, she blossomed into a gentle, goofy companion who enjoys life at her own pace.
Brooke loves going on walks, does well on leash, and enjoys a good game of fetch before settling in close to her people. She’s especially fond of belly rubs and having her coat brushed, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll happily hang out by your side.
Brooke can be sensitive to loud noises and tends to feel more at ease around adults or older teens. She’s house- and kennel-trained, does well with other dogs, and truly shines when she’s with her canine best friend, Oreo. The two are closely bonded and have spent many years together, offering comfort and familiarity to one another.
Brooke is looking for a peaceful home where she and Oreo can stay together, continue their routines, and enjoy the steady love they know so well.
Brooke and Oreo are a bonded pair and are seeking a home together. They’ve shared years of life, love, and companionship, and keeping them together will help them transition into this next chapter with confidence and comfort. They’re calm, well-mannered, and happiest simply being near their people—and near each other.
If you’re looking to open your heart to two loyal companions who already know how to be wonderful dogs, Oreo and Brooke may be the perfect fit.

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
