Berry is a gentle, shy kitten who has made incredible progress over the past few months. Since coming into my care in July, he has grown more confident and comfortable in his environment, showing just how resilient and adaptable he is. Berry is wonderfully independent and enjoys exploring the house on his own terms, coexisting peacefully with both cats and dogs.
Berry’s early life as a stray meant that learning to trust humans has been a journey, but he has taken meaningful steps forward. Mealtimes are his favorite bonding moments—he happily sits in my lap while he eats and often chooses to stay with me for a while afterward, soaking in the calm and companionship. These quiet moments show the affectionate cat he’s becoming.
While Berry isn’t one to initiate contact yet, his steady improvement speaks volumes. With patience, consistency, and a loving home, he will continue to blossom. Berry would do well in a calm household that respects his pace and celebrates small wins, where he can keep building confidence and enjoy a happy, comfortable life as he grows into himself.
