My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max! a 10-month-old Border Collie mix with a sweet soul and a playful heart. At the shelter he can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, his friendly and loving personality really shines. With people he trusts, Max is affectionate, eager to please, and happy to be by your side. This smart young guy is house trained and does well being kenneled when left alone. He already knows sit, come, and shake, and with his Border Collie brains, he’s excited to keep learning more. Max loves his toys—especially balls, squeaky toys, and anything he can tug—and he’s a big fan of fetch and tug-of-war. While new people may make him a bit nervous at first, Max truly thrives around other dogs and enjoys their company. He would do great in a home that understands he just needs a little patience to feel comfortable, and once he does, you’ll have a loyal, playful companion for life. Max is ready to find his person (or people) and grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
