Sunny and Sally are the brightest, happiest, sweetest, and most adorable pair of young Shih Tzu girls you will find. Sunny is Sally’s mother. They have an amazing and wonderful bond, love each other to pieces, and get along beautifully. Both girls are super friendly, cuddly, and playful, and are always up for snuggly lap time, prancing in the yard, and playing fetch. They get along with other dogs and walk nicely on leashes.

Sunny is mostly white, about 4 years old and 13 pounds. Sally is mostly black, about 10 months old and 9 pounds. These fantastic girls are ready to share their love, joy, and enthusiasm with a new family. If you believe you are a great match for Sunny and Sally, please put in an application today. Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
