Bobbidi came to the shelter with her sisters Bibbidi (A052120) and Boo (A052122), and she’s every bit the bouncy, bubbly cattle dog you’d expect. She’s a happy girl with the kind of puppy-at-heart personality that has a whole lot of joy to share.
Bobbidi can walk nicely on leash… though she also can decide that walking is optional and will dramatically flop over for no obvious reason. She also likes to mouth the leash, but she allows you to gently take it out - she seems to be wanting to play and doesn’t realize that’s not mannerly. A patient, good-humored handler will go a long way with her.Once she’s loose in the play yard, Bobbidi really shines. She loves to have fun, enjoys toys, and has a medium energy level that balances playtime with cuddls. She takes treats gently from your hand and seems to have some early “sit” skills, even if they’re still a work in progress.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday also from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are open Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and closed on Sunday.

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.
We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.
The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.
We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.
We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
