Meet Cabbage, the super sweet and slightly shy only girl of her litter. Cabbage is a little cautious upon first meeting someone, but she comes right out of her shell for playtime! Once she is comfortable with you, she will jump right on your lap for snuggles and pets. Cabbage is very polite, very gentle and would do best with another friend in the house and plenty of space to run, jump and play. Cabbage will also sometimes check her friends’ paws if she sees them scratching furniture!
All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.
We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.

Our process is in place to assure the best possible home for the pet. The process can take anywhere from 1 to 10 days or more, with the average time being 2-3 days. We require an application that will be screened for home ownership, criminal record, vet references, and personal references. We may have an in-person interview as well as a home visit.
If approved, there is a legally binding adoption agreement to be signed as well as an adoption fee to be paid. We receive zero funding from any agency, and rely 100% on donations and fees to continue our mission. You can see current adoption fees here: https://passportanimalrescue.org/how-to-adopt/

We are a 100% volunteer based organization born out of the desire to make things better and the drive to make a difference in the lives of neglected animals. With over 15 years of rescue experience, the Directors of PAR strive to help the homeless and needy animals in Baltimore and the surrounding areas find the loving homes they deserve.
We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.
