Rocko (formerly Solo)

Intake & History
Rocko’s early history is unknown. He was at the shelter and later placed on the euthanasia list due to space constraints before being given a second chance.

Personality
Rocko is very affectionate and absolutely loves to snuggle and cuddle. He is playful, confident, and vocal during playtime. He has a bold personality and enjoys engaging with other dogs.

Behavior & Notes
Rocko can be assertive and dominant in play and may have been a singleton puppy earlier in life. Because of this, he is still learning appropriate puppy play skills. He would do best in a home with a well-mannered, confident “puppy trainer” type dog who can help model healthy play behaviors.
He did great with nail trims and baths, sleeps through the night, eats well, and is a happy, playful puppy overall.

Ideal Home
Rocko would thrive in a home that understands puppy development, provides structure, and has a friendly, well-balanced dog to help guide him. With guidance and consistency, he will continue to grow into a wonderful companion.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.
