Athena is a sweet, highly intelligent, self-sufficient girl that needs some extra love and care. She was fostered from a young age, and adopted by a family when she was about 6 months old. She learns quickly like not to climb on countertops and dinner tables, but doesn't like anything over her head like blankets or enclosed beds or littleboxes. She's about 4 years old now, and struggles with allergies and has balance issues. Unfortunately her current family is experiencing extreme financial burdens and can't afford the veterinary bills or diet she requires. She deserves to live a full, healthy life with a family that can give her the treament she needs. We are heartbroken to let her go, but we know she deserves a better life. Her current state of health is not up to par, so she needs help soon.
