Meet Brownie, a handsome 11-month-old purebred Chocolate Lab who is as sweet and high-energy as his name suggests! Weighing in at a sturdy 73 lbs, this big, playful boy is looking for a forever home where he can truly thrive. Brownie is incredibly friendly and gets along with other dogs. Because he still has plenty of puppy enthusiasm, he may be a bit too bouncy for small children and is still figuring out how he feels about cats.
Brownie’s original owner had to enter assisted living, and his current situation isn't a permanent fit. As a result, he deals with some separation anxiety and is looking for a patient family who is home often to help him feel secure. He is high-energy and needs a yard to run in and an active partner for long walks and games of fetch. Brownie will need at least one member of the family that will be able to work with him on leash training as he is a strong, young dog. NNKCR will work with the adopter to provide basic training and to address behavioural issues.
Suggested adoption donation: $300.00
