Luci lost her mother when she was only two weeks old. Even then, she showed an incredible will to survive—she was the kitten who tried to find help for herself and her little family. That fierce determination made her a bit spicy at first, but who could blame her?
Once Luci discovered warm laps, full bellies, cozy beds, and all the milk a growing kitten could want, she transformed completely. That tough little survivor melted into a happy, playful, affectionate kitten (earning herself the nickname Larry, because… well, it just stuck).
Now, Luci loves all things kitten—playtime, exploring, and soaking up affection. Her soft, fluffy coat only adds to her irresistible charm. She’s sweet, silly, and full of personality, with just a hint of that brave spirit that helped her survive against the odds.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $150.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $350.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
