Hi, I’m Rose from the Golden Girls, aka Betty White. They say I’m approximately 5yo. My foster thinks I’m younger, 'cause I sure act like it! I'm a Terrier mix with creamy white color and about 7 lbs of love. It takes a bit for me to warm up, but I love to be petted and get belly rubs. After I get to know you, I’ll happily spend my time sitting beside you. I have no problems with the cats and dogs in my foster home. I do love to chase the cat if he lets me. And I run around the house and yard with my dog friends. I’m still working on my potty skills. I go potty outside every morning, but sometimes have accidents throughout the day. I am learning and getting better. Foster mom says the next thing to learn is leash walking. Boy, this indoor living takes some training, but I’m really liking being loved. As scared as I was when I came to my foster home, I’ve gotten really comfortable with mom. Foster dad is so patient. He’s taking his time to help me get comfortable. He gives me pets and treats. I’m up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, heart-worm negative, and on monthly HW preventative. If you have the patience to work with me, I know I could be your bestest girl.
***PLEASE NOTE***

More about this rescue
We are the Johnston County Animal Protection League (JCAPL). We are a 501 (c)(3) non profit, founded in 2001.
Our primary function and purpose is animal advocacy and to promote animal welfare, in all its aspects.
We do rescue and adoptions, outreach (providing low cost spay/neuter); and education.
We are unpaid volunteers, but we continue to try and fill the void wherever we see the need, and we do it because the need is great and the animals are innocent in all the crimes and abuses against them.
