Meet Klondike – A 4 year old Sweet Soul ready for a gentle hero!
Sweet Klondike ended up at a local shelter as a stray. Although microchipped, he was set to be euthanized because his family never came for him. Thank goodness a caring person made sure that didn't happen!
Klondike is now thriving in his foster home! He has blossomed into a loyal companion, and all he needs is a little time to trust his new people.
He now seeks out attention from his foster family, loves playing with his stuffies, and enjoys an occasional zoomie!
Klondike is house-trained, and he's calm and respectful when left alone.
Klondike also gets along great with other dogs!
Klondike enjoys long walks, peaceful car rides, and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help show him the ropes. He is incredibly sweet with his senior foster sibling, showing how adaptable and respectful he can be!
Klondike would do best in a quiet home without children or the bustle of a lot of comings and goings.

Once the application is approved we will set up a meet and greet with the pet and foster family.

In some cases we can do a virtual home visit.

To adopt from us: You fill out an adoption application and we do a vet reference. Your pets must be kept current on vaccines, spayed/neutered and receive monthly heartworm prevention. After meeting one of our pets, a home visit is required to see if all a good match.
Our adoption fee is: $300 for adult dogs and $350 for puppies; Adult cats are $125 and Kittens are $150. If adopting 2 kittens the fee is $250 for both.

We are a small Ohio based 501c3 rescue made up of dedicated Volunteers who help save dogs and cats from being euthanized and adopt them to loving homes. We use a system of foster homes to help the pets acclimate. Sometimes we have to board pets when we don't have enough foster homes. We also partner with some locations of Pet Supplies Plus and Mutts and Co to help our kittens/cats get adopted. We hope that one day all pets will have a home.
