Little "Winkie" is an amazing and resilient kitten!
Born near the end of August, Winkie was found on a farm with other cats, with her eyes extremely infected. Sadly, they could not be saved, and she had surgery to remove them.
Because she likely never saw much or very well from the beginning, Winkie has learned to adapt to her disability. Just like any cat, she enjoys love and cuddling a lot! She likes to play too! Every day she learns more, and can find her litter box, food, and toys with no problem! She can even jump from one surface to another!
She is truly a very special and lovable kitty!
As one might imagine, it will take a very special person to provide a loving and safe home for Wenkenbach. She is smart and learns quickly, so she will likely do most of the work! Wenkenbach is very gentle and sweet, and relishes in the comfort of being in your arms. She would probably benefit from living with another kitten or cat. You might even consider adopting her with her friend. If you do, there is a discount for 2!

More about this rescue
We are a small Ohio based 501c3 rescue made up of dedicated Volunteers who help save dogs and cats from being euthanized and adopt them to loving homes. We use a system of foster homes to help the pets acclimate. Sometimes we have to board pets when we don't have enough foster homes. We also partner with some locations of Pet Supplies Plus and Mutts and Co to help our kittens/cats get adopted. We hope that one day all pets will have a home.
