Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sofia - aka Sofia Agatha Fluffworth ✨🐾
Sofia is a young adult beauty with a gentle soul and a warm, welcoming personality. She’s friendly, curious, and enjoys being part of the everyday rhythm of the room—whether that means lounging nearby, watching the action, or soaking up affection.
She has a calm, easygoing nature that makes her a wonderful companion, and she’s at that perfect age where her playful side still shines while her grown-up grace is starting to show. Sofia would love a home where she can be cherished, spoiled, and given plenty of cozy spots to relax.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loving cat who’s ready to settle into her forever home, Sofia is ready to meet you. 💕🐾More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
