Hello everyone, my name is Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey Bailey! Pretty long name if you ask me, but my rescuer gave me that name! how I came to the rescue was kind of sad, a good Samaritan found me when I almost gave up! I was dumped on one of the worst nights in SoCal last year. It was pouring rain for at least four days. I was all alone, cold, wet and hungry, and the water was rising! the parking lot had a few people coming in and out every so often, but even their cars were filling with water they called it severe flooding, so on a night where I couldn’t stand being starving anymore, I cried so loud it stopped the good Samaritan in their tracks and they grabbed me took me home, washed me off and immediately took me to the rescue. I had Giardia because I only had outside muddy water to drink and I was very afraid of everything and everyone, but once I discovered I would be safe and warm and well cared for I started to open up and I absolutely loved everyone! There were so many Dog friends for me to play with and even some Cat friends and believe it or not there was a baby goat and a baby sheep living with us! We all slept together and got along really well when it’s time to eat I do have to be separated because I try to get inside the big bowl we all eat out of and I literally lay in it as I’m eating! I’m getting over the fear that I’ll never be fed again but deep down I know I will never starve the way I did before I was rescued! I just got cleared by the vet. He said I no longer have Giardia. I am healthy and strong and recovered. Well I’m very spunky and active and playful but I do listen even though I don’t like the word no or leave it sometimes I don’t like the itchy outfit that my rescuer makes me wear, but it makes her happy so I tolerate it Even though I’m still a baby. I’ve already had such a rough start at life and my rescuer will not let me go to anyone who cannot promise. The absolute best life possible for me. I must never be forced to be an outdoor dog. I must be part of the family. Another animal companion is not a requirement, but time and attention is I would be perfectly fine as an only dog, I would be perfectly fine with other feline or canine companions, but I absolutely hate being left alone for more than five hours. I will cry a little bit and go to sleep, but I’ve just been through so much. My rescuer wants me to have someone who has time and plans on making me part of the family so if you think that sounds like you, what are you waiting for reach out to my rescuer already I’m ready to come home. I wanna start my life with my forever family and have many adventures together. I have so much love to give. I hope I meet my forever family soon. I am approved for same-day adoption so when you come and fall in love with me, you can take me home same day. I don’t know if I can contain my excitement because I know you’re coming for me soon, but I will try to be patient and wait for you!

Additional adoption info

My adoption process is incredibly simple and stress-free because I want my Adopter’s main focus to be bonding with their new Family Member. All animals approved for adoption have been checked by a licensed veterinarian and have been cleared healthy and ready for adoption. It is not my policy to adopt out any animals if they are sick and have not undergone multiple health evaluations, training, and rehabilitation.

Go meet their pets

We are located in Palmdale, but occasionally get invited to adoption events at the Hermosa Beach Festival or the Palos Verdes Fourth of July Festival.

More about this rescue

My mission will always be to give those in need that were discarded, abandon, abused, and neglected The second chance they so desperately deserve. The ones who lost faith and trust in people and who just need someone who won’t give up on them, and it is my deepest goal to match each family with the animal that suits their family dynamic. I of all people understand that life can throw unexpected curveballs that you’re not prepared for but it doesn’t mean these angels don’t deserve the absolute best life we could give them in the short amount of time they are here with us. Although my family is broken, it is my deepest wish to complete yours. I have a unique role as a rescuer because I have been a rescuer, licensed domestic and exotic rehabilitator and exotic animal educator as well as concierge vet for low income families for 23 years now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. It is truly my calling, and I have dedicated my life to being the voice, caretaker and rehabilitator for the voiceless angels in need of a second chance.
