Meet the Pet
This helps ASTRO Foundation with pet care costs.
Meet Siren
Siren is a teenage tortoiseshell with a brave heart and a big personality. She came into rescue very sick, arriving with a severe upper respiratory infection and both eyes crusted shut. Despite everyone’s hopes, one eye could not be saved and was removed. Her remaining eye still has vision—though not perfect—and it hasn’t slowed her down one bit.
This girl is playful, curious, courageous, and incredibly loving. Siren adores other animals and happily plays with both dogs and cats. When playtime is over, she’s just as happy to cuddle up with them—or with you.
One of Siren’s favorite spots is right behind your head on the couch, where she’ll attempt to tousle your hair (she’s enthusiastic, if not particularly skilled). At nap time, you can usually find her huddled between the bed pillows, purring away. She also loves climbing to the very top of any cat tree to survey her kingdom and watch the world through the window.
Siren experiences life in two modes: intense purring or non-chalantly hissing—often both in the same day. Because of her limited eyesight, she can startle easily and must be an indoor-only cat, but she is still a very fun, engaging companion who brings a lot of joy wherever she goes.
Her foster family absolutely adored having her and will miss her dearly. Siren is ready to bring her quirky charm, courage, and affection to a forever home that will love her just the way she is.
