My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"My name is Sophie, and I am looking for a great new owner - someone who has the time to spend with me and give me lots of love and attention. I am a 9 pound, 7 year old, spayed female Terrier mix. I like to play with other small dogs, so having a dog buddy would be nice, but I especially like to spend time with my human. A SECURE (I can be an escape artist if I see a rabbit or squirrel) fenced yard is a bonus but I am also ok with going for walks."

Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a dog application which can be found at http://fallstonanimalrescue.org/adopt/ and e-mail it to fallstonrescue@aol.com.

More about this rescue

The F.A.R.M. was started by Greg and Barbara Bertling to find homes for some of the wonderful, loving pets abandoned, lost or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at area shelters. Thus, FARM means the difference between life and death for the pets rescued.

We provide food, shelter, medical care, behavioral evaluation and affection. We take great care to find responsible, loving, permanent homes for each pet we save.

The FARM has rescued and placed over 8,000 dogs and cats since its beginning in October, 2000.
