Frost and Snowflake are an adorable pair of kittens ready to find their next homes. These two can be adopted together or separately, depending on what works best for their future families. Frost and Snowflake do have a medical consideration, so we ask that interested adopters speak with our staff to learn more and ensure they are fully prepared to help set them up for success in their new homes. Snowflake, the brother, is the social butterfly of the duo. He’s very outgoing, playful, and loves engaging with his surroundings. Whether it’s playtime or greeting visitors, Snowflake is always eager to be part of the action. Frost, his sister, is the calmer half of the pair. She’s sweet, gentle, and irresistibly cute, with a laid-back personality that makes her a joy to be around. Frost or Snowflake may be the perfect fit for you! 💙
Ready to Adopt a Kitten?
You have two options:
#1- VISIT IN PERSON
Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available kittens in the shelter.
(Kittens in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)
#2- ADOPT SIGHT UNSEEN
If you’re ready to adopt without meeting the kitten first, we can help over the phone or by email. (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.
Kittens are adopted on a first come, first served basis, and we’re not able to place holds on them.
All kitten adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age)
-current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
