My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny-She was found left behind with her leash attached to the front gate of the local shelter. Once a shy and anxious dog, now thrives thanks to her routine of daily walks, cuddles and delicious meals. She has been an inside dog but is not crate trained. She knows a few basic commands like: sit, down, come, food, treat. She is potty trained to go outside.
She could use additional training and animal socialization. She’s a strong leash puller and is triggered by most small animals. She is also selective with people. Building and maintaining a relationship with Penny will require patience and possibly behavioral therapy. She is also triggered by people on bikes/scooters.
We as a foster home did not use training methods that require pronged collars, e-collars or anything that would possibly harm Penny both physically and psychologically. Penny would love a home where she can be someone’s center of attention.
