**Two pups, one very special bond — Cosmo and Wanda are looking for a home together**
Cosmo is a small, all-black terrier with a brave heart and a strong sense of loyalty. He’s a thoughtful, observant guy who doesn’t rush into new friendships—but once he decides you’re safe, his sweetness shines through. One of Cosmo’s greatest strengths is his devotion to his sister, Wanda. The two are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. Cosmo takes his role as her protector very seriously and will always look out for her. His watchful nature and instinct to defend what he loves make him a true little guardian.
Cosmo is treat-motivated and will happily come to you for snacks, using those moments to build trust at his own pace. He’s learning that humans can be trusted too, and with patience and clear boundaries, he continues to grow more confident every day.
Cosmo will thrive in a calm, low-traffic home where he and Wanda can feel secure and understood. A quiet environment that respects his boundaries allows him to relax and fully embrace his role—not just as a protector, but as a loyal, loving companion.
If you’re looking for a devoted duo and a dog who takes loyalty seriously, Cosmo may be the perfect match. For more information, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
