My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winifred (AKA Winnie) is the kind of cat who makes sure you know you were missed. If you’ve been away all day, expect her to climb right into your arms or onto your shoulders and rub her face all over yours the moment you’re home. When she’s extra excited this can get a little slobbery, but if you’ve ever lived with dogs, you already know the vibe.

Though she must have once had a home at some point, she found herself living on the street in this time she sustained permanent cosmetic damage to her ears they give her both a unique look and reflection of her sad history

She starts purring the second you walk into the room and enjoys being held on her terms (she’ll give you a grumble if she’s ready for floor time). Her favorite things include feather wands, catnip kicker toys, snacks, and quality time with her people. She tolerates nail trims & is currently too chunky to make the jump on the counters haha.

Winifred is confident about her boundaries and isn’t shy about expressing when she’s upset with tail flicking or a gentle grumble, so she’d do best with someone who has prior cat experience and is comfortable reading feline body language. She has made it very clear that she does not like other cats and would thrive as the only cat in the home. We’re unsure how she feels about dogs at this point but she could be dog tested upon request.

If you’re looking for an affectionate, expressive companion who wants to be involved in your life and isn’t afraid to tell you how she feels, Winifred might be your girl.

Please note Winifred is in a foster home in Philadelphia 19143!
