Widget is a Lab/Shepherd mix puppy who was found abandoned in a cardboard box at the end of a country road. That part of her story is heartbreaking — but thankfully, it’s not where her story ends.
Widget is curious, bright, and already showing signs of the intelligence and confidence typical of her mix. She’s playful without being over-the-top, observant, and currently perfecting the art of melting hearts while pretending she has no idea she’s doing it.
Like all puppies, Widget will need:
• Training
• Patience
• Consistency
• Time
She will grow.
She will learn.
She will chew something important.
But she will also grow into a loyal, smart companion for someone who understands that puppies are a long-term commitment — not an impulse decision.
Widget didn’t choose how her life started. She’s just grateful it was changed in time. Now she’s ready for a home that will give her stability, structure, and love — and stick around for the whole journey.
