My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Giada: The Grinch-Smiling Snuggle Professional
If you’re looking for a dog who looks at you like you’re the center of the universe, look no further than Giada. This soulful girl recently spent a week in a foster home, and the verdict is in: she is a world-class companion. Giada is famous for her "Grinchy" smile and a hilarious repertoire of grunts, sighs, and tiny snores that let you know exactly how happy she is. In fact, her "happy noises" only stop when the petting stops—she’s a master of subtle manipulation for more head scratches!

Why You’ll Fall for Her:
The Ultimate Office Assistant: Giada spent her foster days lounging in her foster parent's lap like a giant toddler while they worked. She is a low-energy cuddle bug who lives for belly rubs.

A Total Professional: She is housebroken, non-destructive, and quiet. While she’s not a huge fan of the crate, she is crate-trained and extremely food-motivated (which makes training a breeze!).

The "Giada Swagger": She loves her walks, though she prefers a leisurely pace. She is excellent on a leash, showing off a signature "swagger" that turns heads in the neighborhood.

Easy Breezy Grooming: She tolerated her bath like a champ and was a total angel for nail trims and paw handling.

Her Perfect Match:
Giada is a "people person" through and through. While she is currently showing some indications that she would prefer to be your one-and-only pet, she makes up for it by being the quietest houseguest you’ll ever meet. You might never even hear her bark, though you will definitely hear her snores!

After a week of domestic bliss in a short term foster home, seeing Giada back in a kennel is heartbreaking—the "light in her eyes" is waiting for someone to bring it back. She is currently back at the shelter and is looking for a foster or, better yet, her forever home.
