Mr. Pickle is a 5-month-old male with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart. The son of Charli, he’s an energetic little extrovert who loves everyone he meets. He’s playful, social, great with other cats, and when the zoomies are over, he’s happiest curled up in a lap or snuggled close. Mr. Pickle is the definition of fun + affection wrapped into one adorable kitten.
Charli is a 1-year-old tortie female with a gentle, loving soul. She’s playful, a total lap cat, and even does well with dogs — a rare and wonderful combo! Charli first arrived as a found cat in July 2025, pregnant and without a family. She went to foster, raised her kittens, and helped them all find homes… except for one very special boy. 💞
Enter Mr. Pickle — who loved his mama so much that the two became inseparable best friends. They were adopted together in late October, but recently returned through no fault of their own. Despite the heartbreak, these two remain happy, healthy, affectionate, and completely devoted to each other.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
