Bamboo is a 3.5 year old ShiPoo mix weighing about 12.5 pounds, with a soft, gentle soul and a little extra fluff. This sweet girl is very shy at first, but once she feels safe, her tender and affectionate nature quietly shines through.

As a breeder release, Bamboo may not have had much socialization, and new experiences can be overwhelming for her. On leash she tends to freeze, so she will need a securely fenced yard where she can move at her own pace. Bamboo is looking for a patient adopter who understands that confidence grows slowly and is built on trust.

A calm, low-key home will be where Bamboo truly thrives. With time and reassurance, she has all the makings of a devoted companion who would be happiest curled up beside you or soaking up lap time. Give Bamboo the chance to feel safe and loved, and she’ll reward you with a quiet, heartfelt bond.

Her minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
