Attica is a bright, engaging girl who loves being part of whatever you’re doing, always ready to chat, chirp, or meow her thoughts as she follows you around the house. She’s wonderfully expressive and will happily “talk back” if you speak to her or make a kissing noise. While she has bursts of playful zoomies, she also enjoys stretching out in sunny spots and relaxing throughout the day. She isn’t overly food motivated and does best with dry kibble available for her to graze on.
She has a habit of flopping down in different spots around the home, often rolling onto her back in complete comfort. At bedtime, she’s quick to join you, hopping onto the bed within minutes for her nightly good night pat. She’s also the perfect little coworker—any video call or phone chat will have her right by your side. Attica loves chasing toys, batting them across the floor, and scurrying after them with enthusiasm.
She is on a prescription urinary diet to prevent crystals and is FIV positive, but she manages both beautifully and continues to live a full, happy life.
Attica enjoys affection but prefers it on her own terms. She can become defensive if touched on her lower body, belly, or paws, or if she gets overstimulated. But when she chooses to come over and settle beside you, she melts under gentle strokes along her back, head, and the occasional chin rub. She isn’t a lap cat, yet she’s perfectly fine being picked up and handled respectfully.
Attica is a wonderful companion with a lively spirit and a loving heart, ready to bring personality, conversation, and comfort to a home that appreciates her unique charm. She’ll reward the right adopter with loyalty, entertainment, and a warm presence by their side.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $250 per adult cat, and $330 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $250.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $192.50 per cat vs. $385 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
