My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indy is a sweet, well-mannered boy who is ready to find a calm, loving forever home. Hes great with both dogs and cats, making him a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household.

Indy already has a strong foundation of training - he knows sit and come, is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. Hes an easy companion who enjoys structure and settles in nicely once he feels safe and comfortable.

This gentle guy loves belly rubs and quiet affection, and he has the cutest preference for his meals with a little warm water mixed in. After the hustle and bustle of shelter life, Indy would benefit from slow introductions and a chance to decompress in his new home, allowing his loving personality to fully shine.

Indy is the kind of dog who will thrive with patience, routine, and kindness - rewarding you with loyalty, sweetness, and plenty of belly-up cuddles. If youre looking for a calm, affectionate companion who already knows the ropes, Indy may be the perfect match for your home.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
