My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indie #5873 🐾

Indie is the slightly braver half of this bonded duo, always keeping a watchful eye on her sister Aurora. She is constantly checking in on her more timid sister, making sure she’s safe and never far away. Indie allows all handling and being picked up, but she is very reluctant to be separated from Aurora — their bond is everything to her.

While Indie is a bit more personable and confident, she is still learning to fully trust and feel secure. She would do best in a calm, quiet home with adopters who are patient and understanding, willing to let her continue building confidence at her own pace.

Indie and Aurora were previously adopted together from our shelter in 2021 and were recently returned due to their owner moving and being unable to bring them along. These sisters are looking for a forever home where they can stay together and finally feel safe, secure, and loved 💞🐈‍⬛
