If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
On New Year's morning of 2021 Baby Bear was trying to make his way through the snow when I saw him and called to him from our third story balcony. He tried to climb up the bricks to come to me. I ran downstairs and we fell in love immediately. Because of other cats already in our home I had to take him to Animal Services, but I couldn't bear to be without him so I adopted him as soon as he became available. He came running to me again and we rescued each other right then and there. He hasn't ever been able to jump too well because of something that happened before me with his hind legs. He is very loving and affectionate, and he seems to always be there when I need a kitty to hold.
