My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mila is a five year old AKC registered German Shepherd. I have owned Mila for five years and since she was a small 8 week puppy, and have had very few problems with her. However, when my children are running around screaming and playing it makes her anxious, and she can take out her aggression on our other dog, causing a fight. She likes to play with the kids and has never shown aggression towards them. I think she would be fine for a adult, or with grown children, but small children, especially when they are fighting make her anxious. The concern of the trainer we hired had is that one day, one of my children could push her too far and get her too worked up and she correct with a bite. She has been a good dog, but I don't want to take that risk with small children and a newborn. Also, I think she may not be a good fit with other dogs unless you are very experienced dog handler. My only other alternative is to euthanize her and I know my children will take that very hard.
