Kenta is a 7, almost 8 year old GSD x Bull Terrier. He’s very sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to his person. He’s very talkative. He loves playing fetch and tug. Kenta is dog reactive/aggressive and mildly human reactive but only on leash. He needs a confident, experienced handler who understands reactive dogs and will maintain consistent boundaries and structure. He’s had ongoing training over the past several years. He’s e-collar trained and knows basic obedience: sit, down, heel, place, kennel, etc.
Kenta tore both ACLs around 2.5 years ago and wasn’t a good candidate for surgery. His arthritis is managed with occasional medication, and most days he shows no sign of pain or mobility issues.
This is a very difficult decision, and one made with Kenta’s best interests in mind. I love him deeply. If you’re an experienced handler and believe you may be a good fit for Kenta, please reach out to me.
