Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tobias is a stunning male with a big, handsome presence to match his equally big heart. While he may be very shy and unsure at first, Tobias simply needs patience, a calm environment, and a kind human who will sit with him, speak softly, and help him feel safe at his own pace.
Once trust is built, Tobias truly shines. He becomes a deeply affectionate and loyal companion who loves being close to his person. He’s a master biscuit maker and will happily curl up in your lap—even if he’s a little too big to fit comfortably. One of his favorite comforts is snuggling under the blankets right beside you, where he feels warm, secure, and loved.
Tobias is a sensitive soul and may experience mild anxiety during transitions. If he seems hesitant to eat, sitting quietly with him often helps—this “affection eating” is common in rescue cats and is simply his way of seeking reassurance. With gentle consistency, he settles in beautifully.
When it’s time to play, Tobias enjoys string toys and is especially fond of the Oraxond interactive cat toy, which can be purchased on Amazon. He knows what he likes and isn’t easily impressed by other toys. His favorite treat is Churu—always.
Because he thrives in calm surroundings, he would do best in a quiet home without other pets or young children.
With patience, understanding, and love, Tobias will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. If you’re searching for a loyal lap cat with a tender heart and a gentle spirit, Tobias may be the perfect match for you.

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.
Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.
Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.
Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
