Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Meet Sookie, the wiggliest girl around! Sookie is a very special girl that needs a very special home. She is very nervous and needs slow introductions to people and dogs. She will need a home with a fenced in yard as she can be a bit of a flight risk when she gets scared and is very scared to go on a leash. However, once she warms up to you, she’ll get so excited every time she sees you that her whole body starts wiggling! She also makes the cutest little grunting noises when she’s happy or excited. After she has time to decompress, she LOVES head scritches and belly rubs, and she will absolutely shower you in kisses. She loves treats and playing with other dogs (after she gets to know them). She’s much smaller than the other dogs she lives with, but she holds her own and has become quite the ankle biter!
She may feel safe in her kennel when she needs to decompress, but does not like being left alone when it is closed. Her current foster family has left her out and free to roam the house while they’re away, and she’s hasn’t had a single accident or gotten into anything she shouldn’t have. Such a well behaved girl!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
