Meet Alfie a loving, well-trained 5-year-old German Shepherd mix searching for his forever home.
Alfies owner passed away this summer. He was left without a home and was at risk of euthanasia before landing in a temporary foster. I can no longer take him, and he urgently needs somewhere to go.
Alfie is a true gentle giant. Hes incredibly affectionate and people-oriented. He will often place his head in your lap or curl up near your feet when youre at home together. Hes friendly, calm, and sweet with all people, with many aweing at his wonderfully chill temperament. Hes also always excited about walks, hikes, runs, and playtime.
He is highly trained and eager to please. Alfie is currently learning to co-exist around other dogs-He would do best in a home that can provide thoughtful introductions, consistency, and continued training support. He may be happiest as an only pet or with a calm companion. Alfie is the kind of dog who bonds deeply and loves fully.
