This helps Island Dog Rescue Adoption Network with pet care costs.
Sammy is a 5-year-old, 63-lb neutered sweetheart who truly loves everyone. Kids, strangers, dogs, cats, chickens—you name it, Sammy is gentle, friendly, and affectionate. He’s confident, cuddly, fully house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands.
Sammy struggles with anxiety indoors and has a strong desire to roam, making a suburban setting unsafe for him. He would thrive in a farm or rural home with lots of safe space to explore, where his anxiety would likely subside. With his dad about to deploy and mom working long hours, this boy needs a new home with someone who can help him fulfill his needs. They love him enough to want what is best for him.
Originally rescued from Puerto Rico after being hit by a car, Sammy recovered beautifully and has the biggest heart. He is the sweetest boy and deserves a home that fits his needs.
If you have land, love, and room to roam—Sammy may be your perfect match.
