My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nico – ID 16069 – Kennel 303
Terrier mix – black and white – male – 9 months old – 19 lb – will be neutered prior to adoption – up to date on vaccines – heartworm negative – arrived as stray Dec 31 – estimated adult weight 22–28 lb

Nico is an adorable and sweet young dog who is full of promise. At just 9 months old, he’s at a wonderful age—young enough to soak up training quickly, but already showing the ability to focus and listen. He’s eager to please, highly food motivated, and already knows how to sit, making him a joy to work with and a great candidate for continued training.

Nico enjoys engaging with people and responds well to positive reinforcement and structure. His intelligence and enthusiasm make training sessions fun and rewarding, and he’s ready to keep learning with a family who wants to help him grow into the best version of himself. With his current weight of 19 lb, Nico is expected to mature into a compact, medium-sized dog around 22–28 lb.

Nico is looking for a home that will appreciate his sweetness, encourage his learning, and give him the consistency every young dog needs. With guidance, love, and plenty of treats, Nico is sure to become a loyal, well-mannered companion.
