We would like you to meet Nyx!
Nyx is a 1 year old Great Dane that found herself at a local animal control shelter after she was believed to be abandoned at a park. She was found standing there, waiting for her humans to come back, but they never did, and they didn’t come get her out of the shelter either, so ASTDR did!
Nyx is the total package! She is as sweet as they come and is very true to her breed when it comes to being a Velcro pup. Despite how she was found, we can tell someone loved her at some point. She is house broken, crate trained, know most of her basic commands as well. Nyx loves toys particularly balls and if you won’t throw it for her, she will throw it for herself! Nyx is good with other dogs, ignores cats and even ignored some birds she met at her time in the shelter! She should be with kids that are stable on their feet as she is a big girl and could unintentionally knock a toddler down. Nyx LOVES to be outside, so strong preference will be given to someone with a big fenced yard that she can run around in. Extra large dog experience is preferred and we will not be considering first time dog owners for Nyx.
