Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joni is an adult female rabbit, we don't know her exact age because she was a rescued stray by Mchenry Animal Control. When we spayed her we found cancerous lesions on her uterus, there is a good chance we removed all the cancer but there is also a chance it could pop up again somewhere else. Her adopter should keep a close eye on her health just in case.
Joni is a sweet and energetic girl, since her surgery she has acted like she has a new lease on life and loves to eat, play and run. She is pretty willing to be touched and petted gently.
Adoption fee for any rabbit is $100 and all receive spay/neuter, microchip and and RHDV2 vaccines.https://www.lostwoodsas.com/adoption-application

We are currently open by appointment only to see all the pets, but we frequently appear at farmer's markets and other local events with adoptable animals.

More about this shelter
We are a specialty rescue for small exotic pets, such as reptiles and small mammals. We were formed by two women who met working at a nature center. In their interactions with the public they noticed a need in the area for a rescue that specialized in exotic pets, as well as a value in public education. Lost Woods Animal Sanctuary was formed with the mission to reduce mistreatment and abandonment of animals through rescue and rehoming, as well as educational outreach.
