Trixie is an absolute angel once she knows she can trust you. She may be a little reserved at first, but give her a bit of patience and she quickly shows her true, loving personality. Once she feels safe, Trixie loves rubbing up against her people and happily leaning in for good scratches and affection.
She’s incredibly relaxed and easygoing, with a calm presence that makes her a wonderful companion. Trixie would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where she can enjoy a predictable routine and lots of cozy time with her humans. She doesn’t demand constant attention and she is perfectly content just sitting next to you, keeping you company while you read, watch TV, or relax.
Playtime is still important to her, and she especially enjoys wand toys, which shows off a gentle but playful side. Overall, Trixie is a sweet, low-key girl who offers affection, companionship, and a whole lot of love to the right home. Truly a 10/10 cat looking for her forever family.
Trixie is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and litter box trained. Trixie’s adoption fee is $135. Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. Approve Application
Our application checkers will review the information you submitted. This step takes approximately 5 business days.

You will be invited to meet with the pet, usually at one of our Saturday adoption events: https://www.arf-il.org/events/
Sign Adoption Contract
We’ll walk you through the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours!
