Shuri is an 11-week-old female kitten with a curious mind and a big, loving heart. She is friendly, playful, and affectionate—with a special talent for “inspecting” everything you’re doing. Whether you’re eating, typing, or washing dishes, Shuri will be right there making sure it’s all up to her standards. 😸
She loves to play and enjoys cat houses, cat trees, and scratching posts—the taller the better! Shuri is active but also very people-oriented and loves to sleep on furniture or snuggled up with her humans. Once she gets to know you, she becomes obnoxiously lovable in the best way possible. 💕
Shuri can be a little reserved with new people at first, but it doesn’t last long. She warms up quickly and shows off her affectionate, silly personality. She does great with other cats, is good with dogs, and would likely do well with respectful kids. Shuri would especially love a home with another cat to play with.
Shuri is: ✔️ Vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines ✔️ Flea & tick treated ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Spayed prior to adoption ✔️ Litter box trained ✔️ Eating dry food
💲 Adoption fee: $90
If you’re looking for an active, affectionate kitten who will be your tiny shadow and best friend, Shuri may be the perfect match for your home. 🐱💕
Our cat adoption process is open and straightforward! Stop by the shelter to meet our wonderful cats and find the one that steals your heart. Adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-adopt basis.
Animals must be spayed or neutered before they can be officially adopted. However, pets over 4 months old are eligible for our foster-to-adopt program and can go to their new homes while they wait for their scheduled surgery date. For animals under 4 months old you can place a nonrefundable deposit to place the animal on hold until their surgery date. The deposit is then put towards the adoption fee when you come to adopt them. Cats are a $25/deposit and dogs are a $100 deposit.
We're open Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing to ensure enough time to complete the adoption process. 🐾💕
