Brother Bear is an approximately 6-year-old, 9-pound male tabby with a big presence and an even bigger heart. He came to us from a home where he lived outdoors, so he could be happy as an inside cat or an indoor/outdoor companion.
Brother Bear is affectionate yet independent, calm, and just a little talkative—he enjoys sharing his thoughts now and then. He prefers a quiet, relaxed environment over lots of hustle and bustle. When he likes what you’re doing, he’ll gently lean into your touch to let you know he approves. 💕
He does well with most adults and enjoys human companionship. As far as we know, he hasn’t been around children, so we recommend bringing kids along to meet him to ensure a good match. Brother Bear has lived around other cats before, though we’re still learning how he feels about dogs.
True to his name, Brother Bear is a couch-potato lounger who appreciates comfort and calm. He’s fine being picked up—just not all the time—and he is litterbox trained. This sweet older gentleman has many years of love left to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate friend. 🐾💙
