My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Po boy is a 5 year old catahoula hound who is very loving and very high energy. (Birthday 2/14/20)

We have had him since he was 8 weeks old, and had him trained by a professional dog trainer. He is crate trained, house broken and great once on a leash. (However it can be difficult to put his collar and leash on as he thinks you are playing with him)

He is great around our small children & other dogs, however he does not know his own strength and can be a bit of a bull in a china shop.

He does have high energy moments where he can scratch and jump on you, and being so large, can hurt.

My husband and I both work full time and unfortunately do not have the time to give him the attention I know he needs.

When we go on vacation, we book him at pet paradise. They do require an up charge for Po Boy, stating he needs more “one on one” care because he is difficult to leash initially, but once on a lease he’s great.
