I’m looking for help finding a new home for my 10-year-old black lab, Sage. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but my priority has to be my two-year-old.
My dog is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-loving — he adores adults and has the energy and personality of a much younger dog. Unfortunately, he has become increasingly uncomfortable around toddlers, and despite a lot of time and effort, it’s clear that a home with very young children isn’t the right environment for him.
He would thrive in a calm, adult home or with older kids who understand dog boundaries. I want him to go to someone who can give him the peaceful, loving life he deserves.
