My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Evie is a beautiful 1-year-old sweetheart who came to us with a litter of kittens and has been winning hearts ever since. She is incredibly loving and enjoys nothing more than gentle pets, cozy cuddles, and spending time close to her people.

Evie is FIV-positive, which means she has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. FIV affects a cat’s immune system, similar to how a common cold might affect people, but it is not a death sentence and is not contagious to humans or other animals. With regular veterinary checkups, a healthy diet, and an indoor lifestyle, FIV-positive cats like Evie can live long, happy, normal lives just like any other cat.

FIV is typically spread only through deep bite wounds, so Evie can safely live as an indoor-only cat and may even coexist peacefully with other friendly cats. Many adopters are surprised to learn how easy it is to care for an FIV-positive kitty!

Evie is ready for a forever home where she can be loved, spoiled, and appreciated for the sweet, gentle soul she is.

If you’re looking for an affectionate companion with a heart full of love, Evie may be the perfect match.
