Pom Pom is a curious, friendly rabbit who loves to explore her surroundings and be part of what’s happening around her. Soft and fluffy (her name fits her perfectly), she enjoys roaming, investigating new spaces, and climbing onto anything she can hop up to - stools, boxes and even the couch when given the chance.
She’s comfortable around people and enjoys gentle interaction, often coming up for pets, especially around her head and neck. Pom Pom has done well in a family environment and has shown she’s comfortable with respectful children who understand how to handle her gently.
Like many rabbits, Pom Pom enjoys chewing and benefits from a bunny-proofed space with appropriate items to nibble on. She has been eating and using her litter habits well in foster care and has settled nicely into a home routine.

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
