Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Apollo: Your New Best Friend!
Looking for a handsome, fun-loving companion to brighten up your days? Meet Apollo, a one-year-old mixed breed who is as bright and energetic as his namesake!
At 65 pounds, Apollo is a sturdy, happy-go-lucky boy with a heart twice his size. He found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own when his previous family moved and sadly couldn`t take him along. Now, he’s looking for a forever landing spot where he can truly shine.
His previous family says he is very friendly with children! Because he’s a young, bouncy guy who doesn`t always realize how big he is, he might accidentally knock over tiny toddlers, so he’d be perfect for a family with sturdy kids who love a good romp. Apollo loves other dogs! He would thrive in a home with another playful canine sibling to help him burn off some of that puppy energy. At just a year old, he’s in the prime of his life for training and bonding. He’s ready to learn all the `good boy` basics in exchange for some belly rubs and treats.
Apollo has plenty of `zoomies` to share! He’d love a yard to run in or a human who enjoys long walks and weekend adventures. Apollo hasn`t lived with cats yet. Because of his size and playfulness, any feline introductions should be done slowly and carefully.
Apollo is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.
If you are interested in adopting Apollo, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also call to make an appointment or feel free to take a peek during our open hours!
