Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Spotty — the glow-up king you have to see to believe!
Spotty is a 1-year-old Lab mix who came to the shelter with his brother, Jason. In the kennel, he can be a bit shy (honestly, who isn’t overwhelmed in this place?), but once he is in the play yard with his brother… BAM — his personality comes out in full force. Outside the kennel, Spotty is friendly, playful, and ready to party. He’s learned to walk on leash, loves interacting with people, and turns into a happy, bouncy goof who just wants to have fun. The shelter is a scary place for him, so don’t judge this good boy by his kennel behavior — ask to meet him outside, and you’ll see the real Spotty shine
Spotty is very treat motivated and a big fan of foraging for snacks (sniffing = serious business). His previous family reported he was housetrained, loved car rides, didn’t try to escape, and wasn’t destructive. They also said he’s friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs — and that he truly loves people. If you’re looking for a young pup who’s sweet, playful, and just needs a little patience to feel safe, Spotty might be your perfect match. Bonus points if you bring treats!!!
